My Role

(Jun 2022 - Jan 2023)

Before I joined Hmmngbrd, conceptual wireframes were created by fellow designer Aaron Uyehara. I picked up where Aaron left off and my responsibilities included:

  • Modifying existing wireframes into functional low fidelity prototypes.

  • Creating additional wireframes to achieve a usable MVP.

  • Creating user flows for sign in/up, creating a page, viewing and posting to a page, and moving through the dashboard.

  • High fidelity comps ready for external development team to execute in code.

  • Styleguide and responsive design guidelines.

  • Full component library for all types of posts on a memorial page.

  • Creating an admin panel for page and user management.

Wireframes to Prototypes

My primary task was upgrading the previous designer's wireframes to prototypes to a complete MVP.

*This is a selection of screens and does not illustrate the user flows I created to upgrade the wireframes to a MVP.

dashboard

The Dashboard is a user hub for memorial pages they follow or have created. It also includes Notifications, Search, and Settings.

memorial page

The goal of memorial page is to bring storytelling and memories to the forefront.

I was specifically involved in creating the concept of a Questions tab and defining the functional and visual attributes of the other tabs (Feed, Gallery, Support).

Style Guide & Components

Part of turning the wireframes into an MVP was creating a style guide and component library.
